It’s heartwarming to see so many people posting that they’ll be keeping an eye out for the elderly in the current crisis.

Love it. You should all be proud of yourselves.

We all know that there are certain people out there who like to prey on the vulnerable, so when you’re visiting your elderly neighbours, just quickly have a look at their door lock.

We’re out at an elderly gentleman’s home in Portsmouth today. He has an old uPVC door, which had the most basic lock mechanism on it. It only has two tiny, flimsy, little rollers locking the door, which can be popped with a screwdriver in literally a second or two.

Thankfully, now, we’ve upgraded it to a hookbolt mechanism that is far more secure, so he is no longer as vulnerable as he was.
