We were visiting a client today, as we were surveying for an upgrade to the door entry system we installed a while back. They mentioned that they’d called out a locksmith a few days ago, as they were having trouble getting the key into and out of their front door lock.

The client mentioned that the locksmith (not an MLA member) said that they only needed to change the outside part, not the inside part, and that he would return once they had advised how many keys they needed.

We lubricated the lock with a famous brand of spray lubricant. The key went in and out perfectly easily.

Now, I’m not saying that the non-member locksmith was deliberately trying to rip the client off – if they were, I imagine they would have tried to change both parts of the lock.

But they didn’t try the simple fix first. And that’s why you should employ MLA locksmiths. You want, and you deserve, the best.
